Sunnyside Day Care for the elderly and/or disabled people is available from Monday to Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

Meals-On-Wheels:

For a small charge, a two course meal will be delivered to your home anywhere in Whitworth, from Healey to Britannia on any week day. (Monday to Friday). Special diets e.g. diabetics.

Daily Lunches:

A three course lunch is provided in the Centre daily at 12.00 noon. Why not give it a try? At our prices it is much cheaper than cooking your own. No need to book. Simply turn up. You will be made very welcome. You will enjoy good company, have a chat and make new friends.

Why not drop in?

Why not drop in next time you are out shopping. Have a break and a brew. The Centre is not an exclusive club. You do not have to be a member. It is here for the benefit of all the elderly and disabled people of Whitworth.

Other Activities:

Whitworth Pensioners Association meet every Monday at 1.30 p.m.
Musical Reminiscence (Sing-along) on Wednesdays at 10.30 a.m.
On Fridays at 10:30 a.m. we hold Movement to Music sessions.
On most days there are Bingo sessions.
On Thursday evenings there are educational classes run by Rossendale college.
The building is available for hire in the evening and at weekends.
